"A Summer in the Garden" Worship Series

It’s summertime! Time for sunshine and sprinklers, a time for walking in the garden and dandelion bouquets.
So over the summer here we are going to take a little stroll through a bunch of different gardens in the Bible.
One of the most consistent metaphors in the Bible is gardening, plants and growing things. We grow our faith like plants, we weed the sin from our lives, and share our faith with good fruit. The Bible’s story starts in a garden and it will all end as it began in a garden, being nourished by God’s lavish generosity.

A Typical Sunday

A typical Sunday service will last about an hour and 15 minutes.
We celebrate communion every week.
Each week we have a piece of art that connects to our series as well as scripture, music, and liturgy. You are invited to worship with all of who you are.
The message in worship is about 20 minutes.
We have free coffee available and it is allowed in the sanctuary.
We have a space in the sanctuary with fidgets and crafts, the Prayground, where folks can feel comfortable to wiggle. We have a sensory room available.
Wear whatever makes you comfortable. You will see everything from suits and ties to shorts and flip-flops.

Our Prayground

Praygrounds are dedicated spaces in the sanctuary where young disciples can engage in worship in age-appropriate ways. Praygrounds usually have room for kids to get up and move around, tables where they can color or read, and sensory toys to help keep their hands engaged. *With the United Methodist Church Red Bridge UMC practices an open table. Communion during our weekly worship service is open to all. There is no membership requirement, no previous approval needed, no age specification, no confession requirement, no sobriety test, and no requirement to participate. We believe that the table is open to all whom Jesus would invite, which is you, which is everyone.
